How could environmentalist Bill McKibben possibly beat pop star Justin Bieber in the popularity stakes?
Well it was the result of a story in Rolling Stone magazine, published last year. Bieber made the cover but McKibben’s story, according to the magazine editor, got 10 times more “Likes” than the Bieber story.

Check out what McKibben calls the “scary number.”
