Just Do It

Just Do It – A Tale of Modern-day Outlaws is a documentary that looks at biosphere activism and some of those who have recently crossed the line to become “modern-day outlaws,” and “eco-terrorists” when in reality they are trying to protect the earth, and aspiring to be eco-warriors for the benefit of future generations.

Documented over a year, Emily James’ film follows brave individual activists as they blockade factories, attack coal power stations, and glue themselves to the trading floors of international banks despite the very real threat of arrest.

The activist NGO Deep Green Resistance (DGR) encourages people to look at the documentary.
DGR says:

“Despite these efforts, overall we are losing, and Deep Green Resistance is about taking our strategy to the next level. Watch this, reflect, ponder the deep green strategy, and figure out how you can best serve: as an aboveground activist or ally with DGR, or as a humane and super-smart underground activist with unknown others. DGR is strictly an aboveground organization, building a culture of resistance that can advocate for a healthy underground movement, and the dismantling key nodes of the industrial infrastructure.”
