Miranda Gibson spent more than a year up a tree in Tasmania to protest the logging of pristine forests. Now back down on the ground, she lobbies in this video for the protection of the Upper Florentine forests at a time when the government is mulling to allow the forests to be protected as a World Heritage site.
Right now the World Heritage Committee are meeting in Cambodia. They will make a decision about listing some amazing areas of Tasmania’s forests as World Heritage, including the Upper Florentine.
